Longleat Safari Park and House Daytrip
Longleat Safari Park and House Daytrip
Embark on a wild adventure! Longleat is probably the nations favourite Safari Park, this amazing day out includes a walking safari, a drive through safari with great views from our coach, a farmyard and even a boat safari. Longleat has over 100 species of animals including Lions, Tigers, Hippos, Giraffes and Elephants.
From colourful lorikeets to cheeky meerkats and mighty otters, there’s adventure around every corner. Wander through walk-throughs, brave the Bat Cave, and meet animals great and small – all up close and full of surprises.
Here you can see fascinating creatures, such as the fennec fox, two species of porcupine and the critically endangered magnolia snail.
Unlike our talkative parrots, who are impossible to miss with their incredible colours, some of the creatures in Animal Adventure love to blend in. So, take time to look closely and spot them.
Step into the jungle and meet cheeky meerkats, amazing anteaters and more! Jungle Kingdom gets you closer than ever to exotic animals, with walk through enclosures and face to face encounters.
Our meerkat walkthrough, the first of its kind in the UK, puts you right in the middle of their world as they scurry underfoot, pop up on rocks, and keep a close eye on you! While you're exploring, don’t miss the porcupines, binturong, giant anteaters and our irresistibly cute aardvarks. Meet our mini mischief-makers, our curious tamarins — full of energy and charm. They might be tiny, but they’ve got big personalities. And don’t miss our red pandas, with their striking rust-coloured coats and bushy tails, who are built for life in the trees. These mammals are masters of balance and climb exceptionally high. You may need to look up! Perfect for little animal lovers, Family Farmyard is home to all your farmyard favourites — bouncy bunnies, clucking chickens and delightful donkeys. But this is Longleat… so don’t be surprised if you spot a few unexpected faces too! Our friendly keepers are always nearby to share fun facts and care tips about our furry and feathered residents All aboard the Longleat Railway! Our 15 inch narrow gauge railway has been running since 1965, even before our Safari Park opened. Enjoy the 1¼ mile journey through scenic woodland and experience incredible views across Half Mile Pond. Look out for our noisy Californian sea lions as they follow the Boat Safari, as well as looking across to Colobus Island and Gorilla Colony. You may even spot our pod of hippos! You’ll begin and end your trip at Longleat Central Station in the Main Square.Monkey Temple
